Virgo is an earth sign and is represented by the torso of a young maiden cradling a sheaf of grain.

Those born under this sign have a strong predilection for mechanical and manual activities, and they are undoubtedly tireless workers.

Perfection is almost an obsession for Virgos - nothing excites them more than finding the smallest element out of place, (they will correct you every time if a verb is misused!)

Beige is the colour that best represents them, they certainly don't like to draw attention to themselves by dressing excessively or taking a risk with their style. Rather, they are innately and confidently, timelessly chic.

Virgos enjoy an incredible sense of self control, they are highly aware of their emotions, which they always try to rationalise, going out of their way to avoid dramatic scenes unless they are strictly necessary. This characteristic is also reflected in their look; they will always be effortlessly flawless and radiant thanks to their statement coat or perfectly polished boots, even after an entire day shopping in the rain.

The influence of their planet Mercury, gives them an insatiable desire for knowledge, shrewdness and a tireless sense of logic. They are thirsty for new experience and hardly ever hold back, even when faced with an unknown situation. The mere fact that the experience could become another anecdote with which they can entertain their friends is sufficient!

Our advice for Virgos is to put aside the continuous search for perfection, we realise that the devil is in the details, but it is not always worth focussing on them at the expense of what would otherwise be an idyllic situation.
