With a great party to celebrate Wait and See’s 15th Anniversary, this new chapter begins with a return to Uberta’s roots: Romeo Gigli is the alpha of her style and of her love for fashion — the spark that ignited her aesthetic journey: “I was seventeen when I had a revelation. I fell headfirst into the deep burgundy of that vaguely masculine Romeo Gigli coat, displayed in a shop window in central Milan. I was with my grandmother Carla, who — in a rare moment of excitement — bought it for me on the spot. That was the beginning. Unisex vests and women’s shoes of various styles and materials, selected by Uberta in collaboration with the legendary vintage retailer A.N.G.E.L.O., are drawn from unworn archival pieces from the 80s and 90s. These items celebrate the timeless refinement and poetic tailoring of the Designer — iconic style accents that are perfectly aligned to the eclectic, colorful and aesthetic universe of the Store.

Romeo Gigli himself shares a few words in tribute to this homage: “I’m a wanderer through the World and through the Ages, imagining decorated vests for a young man delighted to gift them to his companion, who wears light escarpins to run swiftly into his arms.
